"The Scandinavian influence is unmistakeable in this lightly scaled walnut collection that gives the illusion of tops suspended inches above the legs. Legs and stretchers are sculptured in the Danish fashion and the edges of the tops are feathered out in a thin, upswept contour. Sides are gently bowed in keeping with the sculptured character of the design. Impressively figured American Walnut in the tops is accented with borders and rubbed to Lane's handsome gunstock finish.
