Vintage 1980s Art Deco tulip barrel chair in white with black lacquered stepped pedestal base. High gloss black lacquer arm accents with beautiful soft upward flare create the tulip. White leather upholstery with piped channel back seams emulating a shell with those classic art deco lines. What a show-stopping statement piece!
Very sturdy and structurally sound. Great used condition. Upholstery is very good as-is with just a couple of flaws- some wear at the usual high touch places and some distressed area on the black lacquered pedestal base. Black accents on fronts of arms have a gap between the upholstered chair and the accent piece, but they are still firmly attached.
This chair looks like it should swivel, but it does not.
